It's time to get active for Christian Aid Week! Why not enjoy some fresh air and the beauty of Edinburgh, while raising funds to help end poverty.

You can choose to take part in a walk on Blackford, Braids, Craiglockhart, Corstorphine, The Castle, Calton, or Arthurs Seat hill in Edinburgh between the 12 and 18 May.

Whether you're up for a gentle walk or challenging yourself to all 7 hills, we would love for you to join us!

You’re welcome to walk in any direction and use any means you wish to access hills. You don't have to climb the hills in any particular order and route notes will be given up and down each hill.

It's also up to you when you wish to finish, but let your friends know that you've gone walking!

For more information, you can download resources on our website or send donations directly to your church representatives who will forward funds to our headquarters.

Priestfield Church has an e-envelope for collecting funds.

The total distance for all hills is approximately 14 miles or 22km; that is 1 mile up and down each hill, plus a bit extra in between.

Remember to take lots of photos during the walk, preferably wearing a Christian Aid t-shirt!

You can register with your church representatives so that they can get an idea of the number of walkers.
