For 79 years, Christian Aid has provided long-term development support and humanitarian relief worldwide, highlighting suffering, tackling injustice and championing people’s rights.
As we step into our 80th year, we reflect on what we’ve achieved. In 2023/24, Christian Aid and our global partners have reached millions, helping them overcome poverty, rebuild lives and face the challenges of today’s world.
With your support, we work to achieve one mission: to end poverty and injustice, and to build a world where everyone can live with dignity, equality and hope.

Our global reach
Since October 2023, our supporters have responded generously to our Gaza appeal, enabling us to get vital support to devastated communities. They have also prayed and campaigned for a ceasefire to allow scaled up delivery of aid and to lay the foundation for a just peace.
We continue to work in Ukraine, providing psychological support and practical help through local partners. And in Libya, your generous gifts helped people recover after devastating floods, responding to urgent needs through our ACT Alliance sister agency Dan Church Aid. Our work is more impactful and sustainable through working with others.
