Powered by Hope PLUS

At our recent Powered by Hope gathering we wondered at the deep love of God for our world, and explored the ways we can bring an end to poverty.

During this series of online workshops we'll be diving deeper into some of the key themes, and explore some practical ideas we couldn't squeeze into Powered by Hope.

It's open to ALL. You don't have to have been at the gathering in October to take part.

The first two sessions.

  • 5 November - 7pm - Love in a time of division with Alex Evans and Heston Groenewald 

    Alex is founder of Larger Us, which explores ways to bridge divides and bring people together, and has previously been a Campaign Director at Avaaz and special adviser at DFID.

    Heston is vicar of All Hallows in Leeds, which has been working with other churches to build bridges in the context of protests and counter protests outside a hotel housing asylum seekers in Leeds.
     

  • Early December (TBC) - The Justice Seeking church part 2

    We'll dive deeper into principles and practices that can help churches go further in their justice-seeking journeys. Speakers to be confirmed soon.
