Cymru spotlight on South Sudan - webinar

Today in South Sudan, over 7 million people – half of the population – are facing extreme hunger and high rates of acute malnutrition. South Sudan continues to experience conflict, displacement, food insecurity and the impacts of the climate crisis. It’s one of the world's most challenging humanitarian contexts, and yet it rarely reaches our headlines.

In this year’s Harvest Appeal we’re putting a spotlight on communities in South Sudan where flooding, drought, lack of clean water, and limited access to seeds and tools continue to affect families. Many are struggling to recover from repeated harvest losses and to meet basic needs.

Despite these immense challenges, Christian Aid's local partners continue to work alongside communities, helping people build resilience, respond to emergencies and create sustainable change.
